Four Quadrants
Body Mind Spirit Emotion

Peaceful is being in a state of calm or tranquility.

A person who is at peace is relaxed, calm, and comfortable with life around them. A peaceful person seeks non-violent actions to solve problems and is willing to help others. Peaceful people are often kind-hearted, honest, compassionate, and respectful.

Being calm and relaxed can have a postive affect on one's physical well being, including reducing pain.

A peaceful person will have calming and relaxing thoughts.

Being emotionally peaceful is being able to express any kind of emotion or feeling in a safe and healthy way.  Being peaceful also affects one's emotional well-being, promoting feelings of compassion and happiness.

Being peaceful in all of life circumstances, whether easy or difficult, for many is a spiritual practice.
