Finding that one can seek guidance or advice from a knowledgeable student
Student mentors may direct students to specific resources which support physical well-being in the institution, or encourage students to stay physically active. They may direct students to academic supports in the university, or provide tips and guidance with school work. For emotional support or guidance with thought-processes, student mentors may direct a student to personal counselling at the university. For simpler day-to-day issues, a student mentor may lend a listening ear. Mentors can also direct students to the spiritual/ faith resources at their university or college.
